The Red Carpet Dance
Lights, Camera, Action – get ready for your close-up; it’s time to rock the red carpet at CCJPL’s 2024 Teen Dance! Teens ages 13-17 are welcome to join us in the Round Room June 14th, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm for music, refreshments, a photo booth, and tons of fun! This event is perfect for teens who couldn’t attend their school dance, teens who are homeschooled, or just teens looking for a show-stopping “End-of-School-Year”/ ”Start of Summer” Party. All invitees are V.I.P.s at this Red Carpet, so feel free to bring your friends, too!
Remember to wear your best red carpet look - whether you choose to go glam, dashing, elegant, or avant-garde, all we ask is that clothing choices be appropriate for the occasion – shoes are required (bring footwear comfortable to dance in if you need an extra pair), and no ripped garments, please. Light snacks and punch will be served, but attendees may still want to eat a meal beforehand if they plan to stay for the whole event.
The Red Carpet Dance will take place in the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library’s Round Room on Friday, June 14th, from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. All parents and guardians will need to drop off and pick up their teens at the Madison Street “After Hours” Round Room Entrance, as the main library will be closed during this time.
