CCJPL’s Library To Go is a free book delivery service to benefit residents of our community that are unable to leave their home without considerable effort or assistance due to illness, disability, or age. This service will include a twice-monthly delivery of books to patrons’ homes.

Please read through the Library To Go Guidelines for more information.

Qualifications

  • You must have an active library card.
    • If you do not have a library card and are unable to travel to the library, a caregiver or family member may obtain a library card on your behalf.
  • You must live within the Jonesboro City limits.
  • You must be temporarily or indefinitely unable to leave your home without considerable effort or assistance due to illness, disability, or age.
  • You or a caregiver/ family member will need to be available to answer the door and accept the books upon delivery.

How to apply?

Complete and submit this application for review. Since this is a new service, we are limiting the number of participants initially. If you are not able to be a part of the original number of participants, you will be placed on a waitlist and notified when an opening arises.

How does it work?

Participants will save books that they are interested in reading to a Library To Go book list. Library staff will select up to 4 available books from that list for the patron for each delivery. We recommend that you have more than 4 books on your book list at a time. For instructions on how to add books to your book list, please refer to the appropriate guide below.
