ASTRA Exploration Academy for Tweens - Plastic Reimagined: Inventing a Greener Tomorrow

Join us for ASTRA Exploration Academy, a STEAM series presented by JayCee Education Foundation. This week's focus is chemistry and environmental science: students take on the role of ASTRA scientists hired to develop the next generation of biodegradable materials. They create bioplastic from cornstarch and conduct comparative materials testing. Each student takes their sample home. For grades 4-6 in the Round Room.
