Filmmaking Basics - Make a Short: A WOO Films Workshop Series for Teens

Teens are invited to the Round Room to explore the field of Film-Making in this Summer Workshop Series with special guest Brian Ackley, courtesy of WOO Films and Porchlight Film Fest! Shoot a short film at the library, refine it through post-production and screen your final project for friends and family with us this Summer!

In this event: Discover the fundamentals of filmmaking and familiarize yourself with key crew roles & essential tools! Through hands-on examples, teens can explore the creative decisions behind each frame, including composition, lighting, camera placement, and staging.
