The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library is seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Associate.

The Facilities and Maintenance Associate is responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance and upkeep of library facilities. 
Responsibilities include all maintenance and minor repairs of buildings and equipment, monitoring preventative maintenance programs on most equipment, including HVAC systems, ensuring the daily cleanliness of the building in coordination with the janitorial service, having a knowledge of cleaning products, specialized tools, and equipment, tracking and maintaining an adequate supply of consumables and cleaning supplies, and scheduling tile floor stripping and waxing as needed.

This position will also assist the library staff with furniture and maintenance needs and special projects, and assist the branch librarians with maintenance and upkeep at the seven branch locations and the bookmobile.


Applicants should have a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate and three years of maintenance related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience is preferred. This position requires a valid driver's license. A driving records check will be required.

This is a part-time position with pay starting at $14.00 per hour.
