on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 6:00 pm
Civic League Room
The library hosts several book clubs to help those who love to read find others who like to read the same kinds of books.
For the December meeting, the YA at Heart Book Club will not be discussinga book - instead there will be a book exchange, a holiday snack potluck and we will choose the books for the spring/summer of 2020.
The library hosts five book clubs
Between the Covers is a romance book meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. (December 3rd, January 7th, February 4th) at the Horizon Bistro inside of the Courtyard Marriott.
YA at Heart is made up of adults who like to read Young Adult fiction on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Civic League Room of the library. Upcoming meetings will be held on November 12th, December 10th, January 14th, February 11th.
Mike Overall Memorial Book Club is a group that reads award winning non-fiction. They meet on the third Tuesday of every other month in the Civic League Room at noon. They will meet on November 19th, January 21st, March 17th.
Murder and Mayhem is a book club that reads about true crime, serial killers, cults, medical misconduct and more. This group meets on the third Thursday at 6:00 p.m. in the Civic League Room. Meetings will be held on November 21st, December 19th, January 16th, February 20th.
Novel Lovers read high quality fiction and meets each fourth Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. Meetings will be held on November 26th, January 28th, February 25th.
Each month you can pick up copies of the books for the book clubs at the Adult Services Desk. At each monthly meeting the book will be discussed and the next book will be handed out.
Book clubs are a great way to engage with others, meet new friends, read books you might otherwise not read and get more about of what you're reading.
