Art has many interpretations. For many of us, expressing ourselves through art is a great way to relieve stress, share our feelings and spotlight our talent. This fall, the library Teen Zone started a new program called Brush and Pen. This program is designed for teens who are 13-17 years old or currently in the 7th through 12th grades. The Group meets on the first and third Thursday of each month. This month, the group will meet on Thursday, November 1st and Thursday, November 15th. The theme of the month is NaNoWriMo - also known as National Novel Writers Month. Teens will be encouraged to put pen to paper or hands to the keyboard and just write!

Other teen programs this month include YA Book Club on November 17th at 12:00 p.m. Teens will be discussing Slasher Girls and Monster Boys and voting on the books for 2019. Gaming will also be held on November 17th at 3:00 p.m. featuring the games Mission to Mars and Pandemic.
