The Fullness of Joy Singers will bring their talent and voices to the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library on Monday, February 20th at 6 p.m. for a choir concert in the Round Room in honor of Black History Month.  Fullness of Joy Church Administrative Assistant Etoya Barnes said the choir has some performers that are classically trained who can do everything from gospel music to Broadway songs.  “The choir has a diverse sound.  They sing joyous songs that minister to the heart and can be very inspirational,” said Barnes.

She said they really like performing for audiences.  She said people from the community will spot someone they know on stage, having had no idea that person could sing!  Barnes said the band is made up of a saxophone player, bass player, lead guitarist, percussionist and drummer.  The Music Ministry at the Fullness of Joy Church includes music, drama and dance including both a step team and hip hop dance team.  The Fullness of Joy Singers is made up of about 30 members.
