Unique? Always.

Unusual? Perhaps…

Unlucky? Never!

As the Autumn air turns crisp, and dusk falls ever earlier…the time has arrived at last for the Black Cat Social – A Gothic Tea Party

All teens, ages 13 - 17, are cordially invited to join us in the Round Room on Wednesday, October 22nd, 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm for a frightfully fun afternoon of tea, treats, and…a secret scavenger hunt to reveal the true identity of the event’s curiously cryptic host! Can you decode the clues?

At this afternoon tea, formalwear is not required, but our esteemed guests are encouraged to don their best goth attire! (Some say one should always dress to the 9’s, but in this case, feel free to dress to the 13’s!) All things dark, mysterious, spooky, and fanciful are in vogue and highly recommended. In the spirit of this whimsical season, costumes are also invited, but at our host’s request, no full face coverings, please.

Light snacks and refreshments will be served (it would hardly be Afternoon Tea without them!), so please do let a staff member know if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions.

We hope you’ll join us to enjoy a creepy-cool cup of tea and solve a peculiar puzzle or two...

It’ll be the cat’s meow!

The Black Cat Social will take place in the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library’s Round Room on Wednesday, October 22nd, from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm.
