Get fit at your library: walking group

Join the Adult Services staff during the month of April where the focus will be on living a healthier lifestyle.

Monday through Friday, beginning April 1, a staff member will be at the flagpole at 9 a.m. and at 4 p.m. to walk a predetermined one mile route with anyone interested in participating. Participants must be at least 18 years of age.  The walk will last approximately 20 minutes.

Be one of the first 100 participants to complete 26.2 miles during the month, and receive a marathon medal.  Free training logs to all participants. Staff are encouraged to participate and are eligible for the marathon medal.  View our special display of materials on soccer, running, weight lifting,  golf, hiking and other physical activities.  Participants must pre-register at the front information desk.
