To celebrate National Library Week the library we're going to feature a special guest speaker on Sunday, April 14th.  Mary Gay Shipley who used to own "That Bookstore in Blytheville" will be at the library from 2-4 p.m. in t he round room.  She will speak about what it's like to work with publishers and famous authors.

The library offers free Zumba Fitness Classes every Monday and Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Round Room. This hour long class is for adults only. Zumba is a latin inspired dance exercise class. Instructor Brooke Poff leads the class in routines that are easy to learn.

This class starts at 6 p.m. every Monday and meets in the library in the non-fiction section. This is for experienced knitters and for beginners. If you're a beginner, don't worry about bringing anything, we'll supply you with needles and yarn to get started with.

This storytime is for families with children of different ages and for parents who work during the day. Family storytime is held on Monday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the children's library.

It's craft time in the Children's Library! Kids can pick up a set of needles and a ball of yarn starting on September 5th and learn how to knit! Ms. Vivi Chase will start off teaching some of the basics of knitting to those who have never knitted and will work with the kids to complete projects. The classes are held every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Children's Library.
