(kohn_memorial_event) 12/12: "Peanut Butter and Jelly Drive" The Kohn Memorial Public Library is hosting a peanut butter and jelly drive in November and December. All you have to do is bring in a jar of peanut butter or jelly and for each jar you bring your name is added to a drawing that will take place on December 12th. The winner of the drawing will win a $20 gift certificate to the Farmer's Market in Monette. The donated peanut butter and jelly will go to "BIBLE" the Buffalo Island Better Life Experience. (general_event) 12/6: "Scholastic Book Fair" Start: 12/06/2012 9:00 am An annual pre-holiday book sale will take place December 6th-9th. Books at this sale will be half price! This is a great time for you to get some Christmas shopping finished! There will even be some new release books included in this sale for 25% off. The sale will be held Thursday, December 6th and Friday, December 7th from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.; Saturday, December 8th from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.; and Sunday, December 9th from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. (children_event) 12/6: "Lapsit Storytime" Start: 12/06/2012 10:00 am Lapsit Storytime is for babies from newborn to 24-months-old and their parents or caregivers. This storytime focuses on fun with books, fingerplays, songs and action followed by free-play and networking. (general_event) 12/6: "Knitting and Crochet" Start: 12/06/2012 12:00 pm This class is open for experienced and beginning knitters and those who would like to crochet. This class meets in the library in the non-fiction section. If you're a beginner, don't worry about bringing anything, we'll supply you with needles and yarn.
