(kohn_memorial_event) 12/12: "Peanut Butter and Jelly Drive" The Kohn Memorial Public Library is hosting a peanut butter and jelly drive in November and December. All you have to do is bring in a jar of peanut butter or jelly and for each jar you bring your name is added to a drawing that will take place on December 12th. The winner of the drawing will win a $20 gift certificate to the Farmer's Market in Monette. The donated peanut butter and jelly will go to "BIBLE" the Buffalo Island Better Life Experience. (general_event) 11/29: "Introduction to Excel" Start: 11/29/2012 10:00 am If you are interested in learning more about spreadsheets this may be the class for you. The library will teach a class that acquaints new users with Excel's basic functions. This class is designed for beginners. (children_event) 11/29: "Lapsit Storytime" Start: 11/29/2012 10:00 am Lapsit Storytime is for babies from newborn to 24-months-old and their parents or caregivers. This storytime focuses on fun with books, fingerplays, songs and action followed by free-play and networking. (general_event) 11/29: "Knitting and Crochet" Start: 11/29/2012 12:00 pm This class is open for experienced and beginning knitters and those who would like to crochet. This class meets in the library in the non-fiction section. If you're a beginner, don't worry about bringing anything, we'll supply you with needles and yarn.
