(kohn_memorial_event) 12/12: "Peanut Butter and Jelly Drive" The Kohn Memorial Public Library is hosting a peanut butter and jelly drive in November and December. All you have to do is bring in a jar of peanut butter or jelly and for each jar you bring your name is added to a drawing that will take place on December 12th. The winner of the drawing will win a $20 gift certificate to the Farmer's Market in Monette. The donated peanut butter and jelly will go to "BIBLE" the Buffalo Island Better Life Experience. (general_event) 11/14: "Introduction to Powerpoint" Start: 11/14/2012 10:00 am We've all seen PowerPoint slide shows, this class will allow you to learn how to put one together. (children_event) 11/14: "PeeWee Storytime" Start: 11/14/2012 10:00 am PeeWee Storytime is designed for 2-year-old and 3-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. (children_event) 11/14: "Pre-School Storytime" Start: 11/14/2012 10:45 am Pre-school storytime is for 4-year-olds and 5-year-olds. For this storytime adults are not required to stay, but are always welcome. (general_event) 11/14: "ASBTDC: Learning About Social Media" Start: 11/14/2012 12:00 pm Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+ are all social media sites you can use. We'll teach you what the sites are, how to use them and help you sign up for an account if you wish to. The library will be joined by the Arkansas Small Business Technology Development Center for this class. (teen_event) 11/14: "Duct Tape Book Marks" Start: 11/14/2012 4:00 pm Duct tape has many uses to fix things around the house - but now that it comes in so many fantastic colors and patterns(Hello Kitty!) there are even MORE uses! We'll be making duct tape book marks on Wednesday, November 14th at 4:00 p.m. in the round room.
