(kohn_memorial_event) 12/12: "Peanut Butter and Jelly Drive" The Kohn Memorial Public Library is hosting a peanut butter and jelly drive in November and December. All you have to do is bring in a jar of peanut butter or jelly and for each jar you bring your name is added to a drawing that will take place on December 12th. The winner of the drawing will win a $20 gift certificate to the Farmer's Market in Monette. The donated peanut butter and jelly will go to "BIBLE" the Buffalo Island Better Life Experience. (children_event) 11/7: "PeeWee Storytime" Start: 11/07/2012 10:00 am PeeWee Storytime is designed for 2-year-old and 3-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. (children_event) 11/7: "Pre School Storytime" Start: 11/07/2012 10:45 am Pre-school storytime is for 4-year-olds and 5-year-olds. For this storytime adults are not required to stay, but are always welcome. (general_event) 11/7: "Organization 2" Start: 11/07/2012 12:00 pm JP Toledo with Interiors by Design will be back on Wednesday, November 7th to teach the second part of organizing for fall! In this free lunch and learn class we will learn what to do with all of those Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations! Join us at noon in the round room for this class. (children_event) 11/7: "Children's Knitting" Start: 11/07/2012 3:30 pm It's craft time in the Children's Library! Kids can pick up a set of needles and a ball of yarn starting on September 5th and learn how to knit! Ms. Vivi Chase will start off teaching some of the basics of knitting to those who have never knitted and will work with the kids to complete projects. The classes are held every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Children's Library. (general_event) 11/7: "Introduction to Microsoft Word" Start: 11/07/2012 10:00 pm Once you've learned the basics of how to use a computer, many will need to know how to use the Microsoft Word. In this class you will learn the basic functions of Microsoft's word processor.
