This is a latin inspired dance exercise class. Instructor Brooke Poff leads the class in routines that are easy to learn. This class is free and is held in the library Round Room on Monday and Tuesday nights. This class is open to all skill levels.

This class starts at 6 p.m. every Monday and meets in the library in the non-fiction section. This is for experienced knitters and for beginners. If you're a beginner, don't worry about bringing anything, we'll supply you with needles and yarn.

It's craft time in the Children's Library! Kids can pick up a set of needles and a ball of yarn starting on September 5th and learn how to knit! Ms. Vivi Chase will start off teaching some of the basics of knitting to those who have never knitted and will work with the kids to complete projects. The classes are held every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Children's Library.

Just in time for Halloween our teens are welcome to come out for a zombie walk!  Teens are invited to dress up like zombies to walk around the block of the library from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.  We are using this event to help the food pantry.  Please bring two or more items for the food pantry.  Zombies an chow down on snacks and play games.. sorry, no brains.

The Kohn Memorial Public Library is hosting a peanut butter and jelly drive in November and December.  All you have to do is bring in a jar of peanut butter or jelly and for each jar you bring your name is added to a drawing that will take place on December 12th.  The winner of the drawing will win a $20 gift certificate to the Farmer's Market in Monette.  The donated peanut butter and jelly will go to "BIBLE" the Buffalo Island Better Life Experience.
