(children_event) 09/27: "Lapsit Storytime" Start: 09/27/2012 10:00 am It's time for Fall Storytime! Lapsit Storytime is for babies from newborn to 24-months-old and their parents or caregivers. This storytime focuses on fun with books, fingerplays, songs and action followed by free-play and networking. (general_event) 09/27: "Introduction to Craigslist" Start: 09/27/2012 10:00 am Craigslist is a popular website to buy and sell everything from clothing and electronics to houses and boats. In this class we will give you an overview of how to buy and sell using Craiglist's online classifieds. (general_event) 09/27: "Hope Week: Creating Hope with Yarn" Start: 09/27/2012 12:00 pm To help celebrate Hope Week, the library will offer a special knitting class in the Round Room on Thursday, September 27th at noon. In addition to learning to knit with needles, folks will get the opportunity to learn how to knit on the loom. This class is open for experienced and beginning knitters and those who would like to crochet. This class meets in the library in the non-fiction section. If you're a beginner, don't worry about bringing anything, we'll supply you with needles and yarn.
