From yard sales to meetings, there are many reasons and occasions you may need a flyer for an event.  During this class you will learn how to creat a flyer and learn the basics of how to use Microsoft publisher.

Ebay is a popular site where you can buy and sell just about everything.  The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library will teach the basics of how to buy and sell on Ebay.

The Hispanic Center in Jonesboro, also known as Hispanic Community Services, Inc. serves the community by helping to integrate different cultures.  The organization teaches classes and provides various types of information.  On Wednesday, September 19th Gina Gomez will lead Lunch and Learn - talking about the organization and what they have planned for the fall.

Ms. Vivi Chase will start off teaching some of the basics of knitting to those who have never knitted and will work with the kids to complete projects. The classes are held every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Children's Library.

Once you get the basics of the internet down, it's time to start searching! In this class you learn about different search browsers.  We will also introduce you to different helpful websites.

On Friday, September 21st teens are invited to movie night at the library.  The movie shown is one Ms. Nina calls an "awesome action adventure movie" and stars Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, and Rihanna.  The movie is losely based on the popular board game "Battleship" and is rated PG13.  The movie will start at 6:00 p.m. in the Round Room.
