This class will help people become acquainted with the internet. The instructor will go over the terminology associated with using the internet like "search" "browse" "web site" and more. (children_event) 09/12: "PeeWee Storytime" Start: 09/12/2012 10:00 am It's time for Fall Storytime! PeeWee Storytime is designed for 2-year-old and 3-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. (children_event) 09/12: "Pre-K Storytime" Start: 09/12/2012 10:45 am Welcome to Fall Storytime! Pre-K Storytime is for children who are 4 and 5-years-old. Kids get to hear a story and then do a craft at the end. Parents and caregivers are not required to stay, but are always welcome. Whether you're ordering something from a website that is not secure or want to learn how to keep your kids safer on-line, there are things you need to know! Join Sara Stuart from the Information Services staff at the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library to learn more about internet safety. (children_event) 09/12: "Children's Knitting" Start: 09/12/2012 3:30 pm It's craft time at the library! Ms. Vivi Chase will start off teaching some of the basics of knitting to those who have never knitted and will work with the kids to complete projects. The classes are held every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Children's Library. (teen_event) 09/12: "Making Clay Beads" Start: 09/12/2012 4:00 pm Teens can put on their crafting hat on Wednesday, September 12th when they get to MAKE clay beads. The event will take place from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
