This class starts at 6 p.m. every Monday and meets in the library in the non-fiction section. This is for experienced knitters and for beginners. If you're a beginner, don't worry about bringing anything, we'll supply you with needles and yarn.

On Monday, August 13th Teens (and adults) are welcome to join in on the discussion of the graphic novel "Barefood Gen" By Keiji Nakazawa.  The meeting startsat 6:30 p.m. in the Civic League Room.

We will play video games on Tuesday, August 14th from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.in the round room.  This is a drop-in event for all ages.

Teens! Get your tattoo here (temporary, will wash off or fade away in a couple of weeks).  We will do back to school henna tattoos on Tuesday, August 14th at 4:00 p.m. in the Round Room.

Do you know what book you should read next?  Let us help you decide!  Join us for this free lunch and learn class  to learn more about "Novelist", which is a database found on the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library website.  This is a great tool to help you choose a new author, book series or genre based on what you already like.

The Children's Library will show a movie on Wednesday, August 15th at 2:00 p.m. in the Round Room.  The movie that will be shown is rated PG and stars Drew Barrymore and John Krasinski.  For more information, including the title of the movie, contact the Children's Library at 870-935-5133 extension 1120.

The Children's Library will host a day of crafts on August 16th.  Bring your children to the library for this drop-in event from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. to make two of their favorite crafts.

On Thursday, August 16th tweens will get their own opportunity to get henna tattoos.  Tweens are considered any student who has completed 4th, 5th and 6th graders.  These type of temporary tattoos last anywhere from one to three weeks.
