Join us for this free lunch and learn class to learn more about "Novelist", which is a database found on the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library website. This is a great tool to help you choose a new author, book series or genre based on what you already like.

On Thursday, August 16th tweens will get their own opportunity to get henna tattoos. Tweens are considered any student who has completed 4th, 5th and 6th graders. These type of temporary tattoos last anywhere from one to three weeks.

Join us on Wednesday, August 22nd to make your own fascinator - also known as a tiny hat or heavily decorated headband! All you have to do is show up, we provide all of the supplies! You are welcome to bring in your lunch for this event!

It's craft time in the Children's Library! Kids can pick up a set of needles and a ball of yarn starting on September 5th and learn how to knit! Ms. Vivi Chase will start off teaching some of the basics of knitting to those who have never knitted and will work with the kids to complete projects. The classes are held every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Children's Library.

This workshop is an open-office style meeting space for anyone who has questions about finding jobs, filling out online applications and composing a resume. It's time for our 2nd Annual Fall Concert Series! We'll kick off the concert series on September 11th with the David Daniels Blues Band out of Memphis. The free concert will start at 6:00 p.m. on the lawn of the library located at 315 West Oak Avenue.
