On Monday, July 2nd the Children's Library will host a day of drop-in crafts from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Kids will be able to make crafts to use to celebrate Independence Day.
This class starts at 6 p.m. every Monday and meets in the library in the non-fiction section. This is for experienced knitters and for beginners. If you're a beginner, don't worry about bringing anything, we'll supply you with needles and yarn.
On Tuesday, July 3rd the Children's Library will show two movies in the Round Room. While we can't publish the names of the movies here, you can call the library at 935-5133 extension 1120 and ask to find out the titles. We will show the first movie that has a "G" rating at 10 a.m. The second movie that has a "PG" rating will be shown at 2 p.m.
On Thursday, July 5th kids and their families are invited to come to the library to play board games! Games like "hungry hungry hippo", "Jenga", "checkers" and others will be on hand. The games will be out from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

On Friday, July 6th we will pull out the Xbox and the Wii and play video games! Kids and their families are invited to come to the Round Room inside the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library to play video games anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
It's a competition that has been featured in at least one young adult book series - the battle between vampires and werewolves has been brewing. Join us on July 7th from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. for a night of trivia, costumes, games and snacks!
