This class starts at 6 p.m. every Monday and meets in the library in the non-fiction section. This is for experienced knitters and for beginners. You are asked to bring your own yarn and needles. If you have never been, you can come and watch and learn what you need to bring the next time.

This book discussion group known as Down the Rabbit Hole meets on Tuesday, April 24th at 6:30 p.m. in the Civic League Room.  In April the group is reading "Bossypants" by Tina Fey.  Pick up your shared copy of this book today!

This Lunch and Learn class will feature Judith Long from Legacy Landfill.  Long will talk about what you can and cannot recycle.  She will also talk about things we can do with some "trash" to reuse it in our own homes.  This class starts at noon in the Round Room of the library.  Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch into the library with them.

This class is a very basic introduction to the Microsoft Word, and teaches how to change font, insert pictures and center text.

This club is geared towards children who are in second through sixth grade. Parents and older kids are welcome to join in as well. If you don't know how to knit, no problem! We'll teach you! In this class each new child will recieve a pair of knitting needles and a skein of yarn to start them off.

This class is open for experienced and beginning knitters and those who would like to crochet. This free event is offered twice a week and gives people in the community the opportunity to learn something new or practice what they already know. You are asked to bring your own yarn and needles.

We've had an increase in the number of people requesting help with their resume so we will be offering a series of "resume workshops" in the month of November.  If they are successful, we will continue this into the new year!  The two hour session will be a drop-in for those who would like help.  We can review your resume for content, organization, formatting and consistency.  For more information call the information desk at 870-935-5133 extension 1121.

The semi-annual Friends of the Library book sale will take place the last weekend of the month of April.  This sale is "officially" held on Saturday and Sunday.  However, this year, the Friends will hold a special "preview" sale for members and those who join the day of the event.  The price to join the friends is $10.  You can join at the door.

The sale features paper back and hard back books in fiction and non-fiction.  Most books are gently used, while others are practically new.

The semi-annual Friends of the Library book sale will be held on Saturday, April 28th from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Round Room of the library.  The sale will continue on Sunday, April 29th from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. 

This sale features gently used and practically new paper and hard back books.  Books in the collection are donated books from the public and discarded books from the library.
