For Teen Tech Week the Teen Zone at the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library will host a Teen "Petting Zoo" featuring electronics from Best Buy. This will be a great way to introduce teens to the newest and most popular technology out there.

The days are getting longer and the sun is starting to get brighter across the area and that has many thinking about gardening! On Wednesday, March 7th Erik Grant from the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service will teach a class on container gardening. There will be several barrells available for patrons for free. First come, first served! If you register for this class you will be added to the list for one of the containers!

Reference USA is one of the many Databases available to library patrons. It is a great tool for small businesses, those looking for a job, find articles for research, and many other business related topics. Nathan Whitmire and Kristy Gates with Information Services will lead this class.

You may be familiar with our Zumba Fitness class offered twice a week at the library. This class is very popular with library patrons. However, there may be many who have no idea what is involved in the class. This Lunch and Learn will be a great opportunity to learn more about the class and get some information on how this is a fun way to get a good workout.

During our Spring Break staycation we're going to have a family board game day! Join us in the Children's Library from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21st. Registration is not required, but is encouraged to let the staff know how many plan to attend.
